Jim Woods - Owner

Jim Woods is the owner of Jasper Auto Sales. He is from the town of Oakman, in Walker County, AL. Jim graduated from Oakman High School, and then pursued a career in the underground mines. Jim married his High School sweetheart, "Debbie Walton" shortly after finishing school. Jim has four son's and 7 grandchildren that he is very close with. He cooks Sunday lunch for the entire family every week and truly is dedicated being a family man. Jim is very involved in the community. He serves as a trustee at Oakman High School, Started a Scholarship Fund in his wife's name, and serves as a deacon at the Parrish Church of Christ. One of Jim's favorite contributions is the annual Christmas parade held in Jasper,AL. Each year thousands of small toys, candy, and bicycles are given away to children in attendance by the elves at Jasper Auto Sales in memory of his late wife, Debbie.

Jim was recognized by his peers as the "Quality Dealer Award Winner" in the State of Alabama for 2014. Jim finished in the top 20 for the National Quality Dealer of the Year in 2014 and has consistently been in the top 10 in the State for Independent dealer retail vehicle sales. You will not find a more generous, or well thought of dealer in the business.

Matt Woods - Manager

Matt Woods is from Oakman, AL. He graduated from Oakman High School in 2000. Matt continued his education while serving as an ambassador at Bevill State Community College. He then finished his Bachelors at Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration in Aviation Management in 2004. Matt has been happily married to Brandi Woods for 10 years, and together have a daughter named Camden (5 yrs). Matt serves as a board member for the Walker County Chamber of Commerce, and a mentor for Youth Leadership Walker County. Matt was recently recognized as the "Volunteer of the Year 2014" at the annual Chamber of Commerce Breakfast. He also serves as the President for (HALO Hope After Loss Organization) a local non-profit who provides bereavement services to families who lose a child due to infant loss or still birth.

Matt is a lifelong resident of Walker County and cares deeply about the advancement of retail and industry in his community. He also takes an active role in mentoring young people who are striving to be leaders in their community. Matt was part of a local group who developed a program for middle school aged young men who may be at risk of failing in their school. Matt serves as a deacon at the Parrish Church of Christ. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family. Matt has learned many of the business principles from his father, Jim Woods and wants to conduct his operations in the same manner that has made his father a pillar of the business community in Jasper.

Angie Mitchell - Office Manager

Angie Mitchel is the Office Manager and has been a valued part of the Jasper Auto Sales family for over 25 years, making her one of the longest-tenured employees. She handles titles, paperwork, and everything in between with a smile, keeping things running smoothly for our customers and team every day. She was hired by the late Debbie Woods (wife of owner Jim Woods) and is often described by colleagues and customers as the "glue that holds it all together," a "darling" who keeps the place running smoothly. She is a key part of what makes Jasper Auto Sales feel like a family business that customers return to and recommend.

Angie truly enjoys being here because it feels like home. In her free time, she loves traveling, camping, and spending time with her family.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, JP brings Southern hospitality and a customer-first approach to the team. He is a proud LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, hunting, and fishing.
